Be a Blessing by Your Blessings
Have you ever felt that the exterior of how we look, is how the world judges, like the cover, rather than the pages of a book?
We believe the lie that the external defines, the value we have in the world... the style of our hair, the things that we wear, the external details become cages that define us.
But what if we stopped and stepped back a bit?
Let's look closer at a world that we feel we don’t fit.
Could it be you need to let God define your beauty?
Then let me open your eyes to the words of a book.
In Psalm 139, it is defined that you are “fearfully and wonderfully made”.
It is God your creator, that says you are greater, because of the value of which, He put in.
People you see may look, and just like a book, judge you by your external identity.
But it is Him that looks from within and sees the beauty of your unique intricacies.
You don’t have to be anything differently, than the way He truly wants you to be.
When He made you, the plans that He drew only had one version, just you!
So when you think, that you are different, believe that is true!
There's only one YOU!
Different is beautiful!
Different is fun!
Different means creativity!
Uniqueness in one!
Just be you and in all that you do!
Let God define the beauty He gave you!
Amen.

We sprint and strive as we live our lives.
We hope for something more.
We look at things, that more "things" bring and think, "Isn't there more?"
We stress and strain.
We entertain.
We sprint a race in life.
But what if there is a solid way to refresh our inner strife?
Could it be that what we need is God's way for our life?
What would you do with something new?
You would try it out!
So open your mind, clear your plate, and give God the real stuff in your life.
Open your heart, and from the start add Him into your day.
Then from there, He'll show He cares.
His love ignites your ways.
It's not in "things" or "likes" or "pings", in which we find our purpose.
He wants us to receive His truths. He fills our minds to nourish.
He wants our lives to mean much more than what the world can let it do.
Because with Him and time within, His goodness lives in you.
So sit right down and in Him be found, don't work or stress or strain.
Begin again each day with Him. The Lord will ease you through the rain.
There's so much more He has in store, than what we can conceive.
Don't jump ahead, don't read the end, just seek God and receive.
Amen.

You spoke. I live.
You lead. I believe.
You plan. I receive.
In the plans you have for me
from the womb with tiny intricacies,
you know the will You have breathed.
I am alive because of You!
I’m thankful to be built.
You faithfully see me through!
I trust His plan!
I have faith!
I believe His will
is truly great!
When I do not know
what to do, I pray.
James 1:5 unfolds
this into full view.
For God has plans made just for me!
I know through Christ I am truly free!
I have chosen to follow Jesus and believe.
We can live our lives through Jesus,
hand in hand, finding freedom
as we walk the land!
God who gives us breath inside, shows us how to truly be alive!
Amen.

Why do we do the things we do?
Who is it for?
Who is it through?
Do we do it for likes or for followers and fans?
What are our lives leading us to?
Is it for society to celebrate you?
Is it for joy that will stay through and through?
Is it just temporary quick to leave you?
What is the goal at the end of the game?
Will you come to this earth one way and then leave the same?
Do you know the one that started it all?
Do you hear his voice or feel his call?
What if your life completed today?
Would you like what you’ve done as you’ve lived your last day?
Do you know where you’re going when your time here is done?
Have you made peace with God and through His one and only son?
Have you read the words to John 3:16?
Do you believe His blood makes you clean?
Did you know God is perfect and we are not?
Have you considered it’s hard for God when we choose our own life plot?
Did you know God knows we are all not perfect, but he still chooses you?
Do you know that God loves you and pursues?
Do you know that you’re worthy because Jesus Christ paid for your sin?
Do you want to go to heaven when your time here grows dim?
Do you know how to go through the heavenly gates?
Have you considered that Jesus‘ life, death and resurrection paid the rate?
Have you decided you are worthy because Jesus paved the way?
Will you follow him now for the rest of your days?
Is your answer, yes?
Will you share with God the rest?…
Father God hear our prayers.
We love you, we need you, in spite of our tears. We hear you. We feel you. We trust you. We know that the goodness of God covers all my tales of woah. I accept your son Jesus as my Savior and King. I ask you into my heart and want to begin through you again. Please forgive me, Dear Father, for you know the way. I give you my life and my forever this day.
Why do you do the things that you do?
Could it be that now it will be what God does through you?
Amen.

If someone is blind, they cannot see, but sometimes people are blind spiritually.
They cannot see the things God does, nor do they believe in the things from above.
They want to, but they are blinded to, the activity of God and the ways that He moves.
They see the world from another lens, clouded by dust that the earthly life lends.
It is hard to comprehend the things God does, when our eyes are filled with worldly mud.
The only one who can take it away is the Spirit of God and He shows the way.
Our blindness to God in a spiritual way, goes away in our decision to pray.
We ask Him to show us so that we would know, the ways of God and He helps us to grow.
He teaches our heart, and melts lies way, and uses His word in the Bible each day.
His word is alive and it cuts right through, the lies of the world and what we thought we knew.
He times each verse woven into our day, so that we may hear Him in our heart in a new way.
For God is alive! His truths are too! He gives them to you when you ask Him to.
God can handle uncertainty, our doubts, and our pleas. He can even handle the times when we think we don’t believe.
He can handle it all! He knows what He does and He will deliver us from the spiritual mud clouding His love.
He sees you. He knows you. He built you with love. He put a place in your heart that is for Him and fits you like a glove.
He loves you! He sees you! He is standing right there! He knows every hurt and is there to repair.
Ask Him in your journey as you roam on His land, what His plan is for you, God knows and it’s grand!
He has great adventures, He has so much love, He wants wonders for you, because love is what He’s made of!
Don’t settle for worldly, choose heavenly instead! God is alive and so is His son, just read the words written in red.
God is for you and Jesus is too! Remember that day at Calvary as Jesus gave His life for you.
Don’t keep choosing worldly blindness, please give God a shot! Your spirit is searching and God is here right on the dot!
Your timing is perfect! Your journey is His. God built your life and gave you the first breath that you did!
He hears you, He sees you, He loves you, and cares! He is the only one ever, that has even numbered all your tiny hairs!
He is God of the Universe! The Creator of All! Yet, it’s His voice you are hearing, when your heart feels His call.
So answer in the moment, when your heart feels a tug. It is God of Forever, who created you with love.
Amen.

We wear many hats.
Hats that are invisibly stacked.
Hats for necessity,
Hats for fun,
Hats for caring for others,
Hats to help little ones.
Some hats are invisible,
While others you can see,
Like the hat of a coach or a parent
Cheering from the sidelines with glee!
The art of wearing many hats,
Is balancing them all.
Some hats you have worn forever,
Since you were tiny and small.
Some hats are new and a challenge to wear all together, so tall.
Other hats are your favorite,
Possibly ones that do not pay.
But if you do not wear that one,
You do not feel like yourself in the day.
Whatever hat you are wearing,
Please remember just one thing;
God who made you can see all your hats, and the special detail you put in.
He sees you really trying,
To do it all at once.
He sees the intention you put behind, the Hat of making time for that special lunch.
He sees you try to balance, stress, strain,
That when the winds of life start blowing, the balancing of your hats,
Gets harder once again.
Here’s one thing to remember,
That you can use to start your day,
God who loves you, will always help you,
Balance the many hats of each day.
In all you do, through gratitude,
Share your heart with God,
He will help you prioritize,
Which hat should truly go on.
If you seek Him for His wisdom,
Of the hat that fits just so,
You will not need to stress,
If the hat will balance in your daily flow.
Start first with asking God,
Which one you should put on first.
Then build from there,
Through His heavenly care,
So it makes you shine and strong.
We are not our best selves when,
We wear all hats at once.
Pick and choose which ones to lose,
So the best hats fit you most.
Toss aside the ones you tried,
That really did not fit.
Then when you do,
God’s glory will shine through,
As He helps you balance
Many Hats for you.
Amen.

Each moment in our lives, is before us, until it is behind.
We see life when a moment has passed, we keep driving forward.
We see it all goes so fast.
God, please help us to number our days and be present in this time.
We all seem to stretch forward to what we see ahead, in our mind.
Help us to process the way that we view, and give each day fully to you.
In life, our perspective is yours to define.
The rear view mirror shows us that which was once a head, all too soon is behind.
Let us focus today, on the moment you have planned for your way.
God, in seasons of change, that we all do know, help it to be you, who is helping us to grow.
Grow in the sorrow.
Grow in the joy.
Grow from our pain.
Grow from love that you show.
You have our tomorrow.
You have our today.
You have the moments now, that soon will feel far away.
There is a time for everything, as we walk on your earth.
You weave it all together from your plan, since our birth.
The rear view mirror, that we often glance to, shows moments that came and went; many that we value and some that we wish we could redo.
Let us live in the light of your daily love, and remember that a moment well-lived today, becomes the glance back that we will receive as a gift from above.
Amen.

You are more than what you see.
What’s inside, is our true identity.
Talents, interests, passions, gifts?
These are the things that make us tick!
We matter to God, Who says who we are.
We are made in His image, Creator of All!
How many “likes” given, does not fulfill.
What’s alive inside us, the Holy Spirit, will!
We come from God.
He guides us through this daily maze.
We are more than just worldly praise.
Life has challenges, tough chapters, fear.
Listen to the voice of God in your heart.
To Him drawn near.
Quiet the noise inside your day.
Let Him tell you about His ways.
Silence mass opinion of all.
Focus on the voice of His heavenly call.
Let God tell you what you’re worth.
He is the one who built you from birth.
Let Him know the things you feel.
He knows your perspective is real.
He feels your pain in so many ways.
He will help you iron out your busy days.
We are more than just worldly praise.
It doesn’t satisfy what our spirit craves.
If you are searching for who you are,
God who built you, will help you go far!
He made you with so much care.
The Bible says God pays attention,
even to number strands of your hair!
He knows the way you feel inside your day.
He sees your times when life feels gray.
The tone you heard, that someone said.
The way you felt, when your face turned red.
God knows you inside and out.
He celebrates you!
His love for you, exceeds all our doubts.
He sends you joy, to ease your pain.
He sends you rainbows after the rain.
He is your friend, at times when there’s none.
He comes to you, when others have run.
He will help you be the real version of you.
Sometimes we forget, and do what others do.
The world has tried to assign you labels.
It is God’s voice that tells you, you are able!
He wants to cut through the caution tape.
Take away walls put up, from all of our scrapes.
He wants you to know He loves you, it’s true!
God will show you all He wants you to do!
You may not know the plan He has in store.
Trust Him, God has so much more!
Your story is not over, it has only begun!
God is your fan, you’re His number one!
Give Him your future and give Him today!
God will guide you in His ways!
God will help you and hold you near.
He will protect you when you feel fear.
He sees you in the pain that you are in.
God is there, let Him take away your sin.
Do not live this life alone!
God will walk you to your heavenly home.
Put your independent hand in His.
He will share blessings that only God gives.
Feel His love inside your heart.
Let Him give your life a fresh restart!
You are more than what you see.
God made your true identity.
Amen.

Some days are normal, others are not.
This particular day is special!
Jesus has made an “X” to mark the spot.
You’re right where you need to be.
Today is the day!
You are not early!
There is no delay!
The pace that you’re running,
truly fits the bill.
God is showing you goodness,
by showing you His will.
You don’t have to be anxious,
for His work has been done.
Just keep pointing to Jesus,
telling about God’s One and Only Son.
Here the point of our purpose:
Help lead others to Him.
Use those talents He gave you!
You are ready!
Let the adventure begin!
Any way that you do it,
God gives you your unique brand.
The style of person you are reaching,
is custom fit like a shelled starfish in the sand.
So tell your own story.
Please, say it out loud!
God has been great at giving you adventures!
Of you, He is so proud!
Remember to thank God,
in every which way.
Give God the glory for the achievement.
His adventures bring meaning to your day.
What we are all doing down here on His earth,
is uncovering our purpose.
He spoke it inside of us first.
You see, when we listen, if we really lean in,
God whispers our next step and cheers along when we begin.
Don’t worry about others,
for what they might think.
God will pull it all together.
He will make the layered details, stick.
Do not let God’s dream for you sit idle,
in fear that others won’t understand.
What matters moving forward,
is staying connected to The One With the Plan.
You’ve got this!
You’re growing!
You are doing “the thing”!
Don’t look back now.
Keep trusting!
Let God be the Father, and you be His kid.
Please take the next step on the path you’re on.
Don’t feel like you need every detail set.
God will open doors for the perfect timing of the plans He has drawn.
Some days are normal.
Others are not.
God is the leader and “X” marks the spot!
So grab your faith shovel and then dig in!
In the hunt for your purpose,
God will always let you win!
Amen.

“It is finished!” Jesus said.
He closed His eyes and bowed His bloodied, thorn-crowned head.
His lifeless body hung that day,
the clouds above turned dark and gray.
The curtain in the Temple, this Holy edge, separated God’s spirit from human sin, was ripped straight down the the center, fulfilling God’s eternal pledge.
God’s One and Only Son, paid it all!
The fall of sin, now had glory’s call!
In Jesus’s life and death that day,
the curtain was torn as He made the way!
For all who believe in Jesus, as God’s Only Son, then you know, He came to earth to get it done!
The moment Jesus’s spirit released, it looked to His followers as a big defeat.
Because of that moment still today, our lives can be made new, if we accept Jesus, and be baptized in His name.
The gift for all, which we can receive, is the Holy Spirit, God’s spirit in thee!
Please do not carry your toll for sin, accept instead, the free gift from Jesus, and give all your sin to Him!
God has bigger plans, than you can see. He is omniscient and is ever present, now, before, and also through eternity!
The curtain is torn, forevermore, the wages of sin is death, but through Jesus, it is no more!
Run, don’t walk! Pick up the pace!
It is your decision for your eternal race!
It is through Jesus that new life is begun, so
please don’t wait to accept God’s One and Only Son!
He’s coming again!
When?
Only God knows!
Choose Him now, before earthly time ends.
Here’s a heavenly way to be made new:
Tell God you are sorry for sin that has separated God from you.
Ask Jesus into your heart for His spirit in thee.
Refresh by the waters being changed by Jesus of the Trinity.
The curtain in your heart is torn forevermore!
It is God’s plan for your spirit to be with Him in heaven, when life on earth has closed its door.
Will you now let sin in your life be torn?
How about finding rebirth in Jesus?
He is The King, who wore the crown of thorns.
Amen.

Sometimes we are the hands.
Sometimes we are the feet.
What inspires you, encourages me!
Some draw, some paint, some speak, some sing, but all of us do one thing!
We point to God, of whom we know.
He gives us talents, that we show!
Only God knows the intricacies of His plan.
What we know, is that we’ve each been changed by The Great I Am!
God builds the bridges and plants the seeds.
He’s the connection between you and me.
He does the work and makes it fun!
He calls us all to share the eternal purposes established by His One and Only Son.
What He wants for us, in all we do, is to unify through Him, letting His love show through!
He opens doors, and executes His plans.
His team is best, when they know only He can!
Fellowship and creative dreams are tools God uses to build His holy team.
He uses it all! Each moment counts!
Everyone matters to God.
None are to be left out!
To God, our Heavenly Father, all glory be!
Some accomplish His will by hitting the note, others when someone types the key!
God works through the body to help someone experience the love God feels.
Jesus can be found through a church service or through someone watching Reels.
Our work for God is truly best done, when it pulls us closer to His One And Only Son.
The gift you give, and also receive, is that God of Love is alive in thee.
He understands everything that you do!
He knows, because He made you too!
Like a body with hands and feet, the best teams work when God is The Lead.
The work that God does through you, second to none, is when we say, “Thy will be done!”
We do not know the final plan, but God does, and The Bible says it’s grand!
We are The Lord’s tools in all He does.
The Master Creator is God above!
Work together through God in all you do.
Allow The Holy Spirit to be the glue in you.
Sometimes we are the hands.
Sometimes were the feet.
God’s body is His holy team.
Amen.

You are in the moment.
This is the time.
The life being lived, given from God divine.
Your laughter, your friendships, your joys and your cares.
Those who remember that you were right there.
We live in this life, that God does give.
It is a gift from above, that is given by Him.
Enjoy all the glory, goodness, stories and glee. They are gifts from God, who is with you now through eternity.
As we share in our memories, that were given by Him, it all comes from our Heavenly Author, who helps us to live.
We will someday not be here, then others will be. It will then be their moment, that others will see.
Feel the joy that God gives you.
This is your slice of time.
Right now are the moments that soon will be your stories for others to share from their minds.
The history of today is happening now.
God has great plans for your story.
Just ask Him how.
In James 1:5, it is written in key words for you.
Ask God for His wisdom.
He will tell you what to do.
Enjoy His direction.
Enjoy His adventures in time.
Enjoy all His goodness, for His plan is divine.
God has a custom story, that is written for you.
The history of this moment is His.
It is a story that is true.
Trust God with your future.
Give Him today.
He has a great story.
He will show you the way.
Amen.

Who do I want to be?
It’s an important question! God is the key!
What do I want to do?
God is there to align His plans for you.
Why should I spiritually grow?
Because in staying the same, there are things God has for you, that without asking Him, you may never know.
What’s the point of it all?
Just ask the Lord whose in control of your call.
Does God Care about Me?
He thinks you’re amazing enough to send His one and Only Son, to live life on earth, die for our sins, the rise, to set us free!
How about my youth? Where did it go?
My years are fast. They used to be slow.
Return to your childlike joy.
Remember excitement you had from your toys?
There was no cool, there was just fun!
You imagination would just run and run!
What did I do then?
Can I ever feel that way again?
Return to your earlier self in time.
Reset your standards to what God initially defined.
You danced, you sang, you acted, you played!
You always knew how to fill your days!
What shall I do now?
God is the One who made you who you are.
Celebrate that, and you will go far!
Amen.

God, I love you. What is your plan? What shall I do as I walk this land?
It's my life, but I give it to you. Help me do the things you do.
Trust me child, I know the way. I will make your curved paths straight.
Trust me with my plans for you. For I will help with all you do.
Call me to the life you have. I will trust you with my path.
Help me make my way in you. God, you're perfect, it is true!
I can hear you child, and I know, the world is filled with tails of whoa.
You're not alone here on this earth. I have been with you since birth.
I believe in the sacrifice of Jesus's life. I receive the freedom found in Christ.
I give you, Lord, my life, my sin. Please forgive me for everything.
Yes, my child, your sin is gone! Jesus took it for you and for all!
You will receive, if you believe, The Holy Spirit, is a gift for thee.
Holy Spirit you are free, to help me redefine my identity.
Help me to see myself the way you do. Guide me in your words of truth.
Because of Jesus, it can be! He has paved your path to eternity.
Trust in him for what He's done! The Holy Spirit is the gift, because of my Son.
God, you do so much for me! Thank you for your heavenly key.
I believe He got is done! Thank you for sending your only Son.
Child of mine, I love you so! I want you to know!
I love to celebrate with you! I will help you in all you do.
Amen.

We have enough. It is true.
The God who blesses me,
is the same God who blesses you.
We have food, we have clothes,
We have homes, we have friends.
We have those that we love,
and who love us ‘till the end.
We need to remember, it is not what we have, but who we are and what we do.
We are “cookied” and marketed to,
digitally tracked in all that we do.
Companies tell us what we need,
using social media feeds to influence you.
Here is the offset of these worldly ways, there another way we can live.
Rather than “get”, we can find ways to give.
Remember that when our time here on earth is complete…we leave the world as we came. The same birthday suit that still covers your frame.
Things can be special, and hold dear memories too, we all just need to remember it is not our “things” that define US.
In life, what matters is what God helps us do.
God made you special and talented it is true.
He gives you what you need and carries you through.
Things are tools in the hands of God
He uses things to help you as you walk this sod.
•He remembers your favorite toy when you were young.
•He saw you win that trophy when the score had been three to one!
•He saw you look for the cars on the TV ad, and God helped you have courage about it when you talked to your dad.
•He remembers the day at the mall when you saw the dress that you were excited for and the heals that would make you tall.
•He remembers when your main hope you had for big moments too, when you wanted to buy a ring or your first place.
Yes, God helped with that for you.
These are all special and things that He used for the life moments that God have to you.
God is a God of love that always provides in all that you do.
In our lives there is “special”, and then there is “stuff”.
These things are different, and only we know when we have had “enough”.
Here are some questions to help us:
Are our things taking time away in the day from the people God made who are asking to play?
Does managing stuff feel daunting and tough?
My answer is, yes!
If it is for you too, then feel free to review:
Who can use this?
Should we donate?
I have four, do I only need two?
What is the true value?
That’s up to you!
Then just shuffle the deck among your friends and family, neighbors, and places and get freedom from your old stuff.
Their old stuff becomes new stuff and your old things the same.
God is given joy when you help others in the “stuff” game.
Give to others who need it and to God’s glory be, for He smiles from heaven when you help others receive.
God has unlimited resources for all, but God wants his children to first hear the call.
It is for others to experience, in the love of a gift, so take the first step, and in freedom you will live.
Your things don’t define you, as our world says it does. What defines you are moments and steps taken in love.
God of goodness, lives in thee, so step away from the powerful current of materialism and instead help others first receive.
We have enough, when we realize we do.
Perhaps this is the moment we can reassess and review?
Amen.

Joy the moment.
Joy in the day.
Joy from deliverance from times that were gray.
Father, Your joy is unending.
It is who You are.
It is not just a feeling.
Joy is the essence of the Lord our God.
Like a fountain that is flowing.
Like a lion that roars.
Like the beams of the sun setting on the wet sandy beach shores.
The joy of the Lord is our strength, it is said.
There’s joy found in celebrating the moment when Christ rose from the dead.
He said, “It is finished.”
We were set free!
This joy from eternity, with God we’ll receive.
Joy is not fleeting.
Joy sticks around.
It is not based on the moment, rather, it is the source in which it is found.
Joy is God’s essence.
Joy is given for free.
It is a fruit of the Spirit, described in Galatians 5:22 through 23.
So why is God joyful?
How can this be?
You can ask Him yourself someday, when He greets you heavenly.
If you want to go deeper to best understand, God is our creator. He, creating people, was His plan.
In Genesis 1:27, “God created human beings…”
It is His image, in ourselves, we are seeing.
The joy of the Lord is our strength you see.
God is the reason there is joy to receive.
Joy is not a feeling that comes and then goes.
It is a result of a presence within, that flourishes when our Creator, we know.
Like the sound from a trumpet.
Like the click of a key.
Joy is the result of the source of God’s spirit, in thee.
He wants you to have it!
His joy is free to give!
He wants everyone to find Him, so that forever, with Him we will live.
Can I ask you something?
If so, please lean in.
Do you want to find His joy?
Then ask Him into your heart, and to you, He will give.
Amen.

Like the Captain of the ship, sailing to sea, the Lord my God, delivers me.
Like the Coach of the team, who knows all the plays, the Lord my God, shows me His ways.
Like the Director of a Choir, who helps us to aim higher, the Lord my God, carefully orchestrates.
Like the Caddy, approaching the tee, the Lord my God, helps prepare me.
Like the Mother talking with her child on the way to school, the Lord my God, shares with me, His protective rules.
Like the Kid on the soccer field, giving all they can give, the Lord my God, goes all out to help me to live.
Like the Adventurer stepping into danger, the Lord my God pursues me, so that I can be in heaven through finding His Son that He sent in the manger.
Like the Runner of a race, who is working to keep their pace, the Lord my God helps time the cadence of my life.
Like the Grandma, with loving strength, who quietly waits for her children and grandchildren to seek her face, the Lord, my God, waits patiently for me.
Like the Holy Son that once said, “It is finished!” and bowed His head, He did what needed to be done. The Lord my God has paid the price for my life.
Dear Lord, it is You who has omniscience, seeing all things through, without limitations, time is always present to you at once.
Like the blind, who cannot see, so the future is for me. My Lord my God, I give you my future for You to lead.
Amen.

You speak.
All we need to do is listen.
You bless.
All we need to do is receive.
You love.
All we need to do is feel.
You guide.
All we need to do is follow.
You create.
All we need to do is be.
You plan.
All we need to do is trust.
You call.
All we need to do is listen.
You wait.
All we need to do is stop.
You move.
All we need to do is seek you.
You reach.
All we need to do is put out our hand.
~
We run.
You are everywhere.
We doubt.
You use it for good.
We forget.
You know all.
We exhaust.
You forever withstand.
We fear.
You deliver.
We choose.
You give free will.
You hope that we choose you.
Amen.

You bless us in all ways, always.
Why do we stress and strain?
You protect us in all ways, always.
Why can’t we trust in life’s rain?
You allow us to grow in all ways, always.
Why do we fear at times before our days?
You help us to achieve in all ways, always.
Why do we settle for our own plays?
You love us so much in all ways, always.
Why do we retreat and ignore?
You show your way in all ways, always.
Why do we follow ours more?
You are The Way, The Truth, and the Life in all ways, always.
Through Jesus, our lives are restored.
Amen.
